Christian, Matthew, and Zion
Zion Alternative Therapy was conceptualized by Matthew Steiner and Christian May in December 2004. Matthew and Christian recognized the need for people to have access to the health enhancing abilities of the emerging computerized thermal massage bed wellness technology.
Matthew received life changing headache, tension, and back pain relief stemming from a serious snowboarding accident in the early 1990s by using an older technology Ceragem thermal massage bed system which was recommended for him to use by his Acupuncturist, Dr. Houng King. Christian had relevant business experience through his tenure with an environmental consulting firm in Washington, D.C. and through starting his first company, PerpetualEnergy™.net, LLC. They both recognized how this miraculous wellness technology was significantly improving people's lives simply by laying on a warm, soothing thermal massage bed system.
Zion Alternative Therapy is Born
Matthew and Christian thoroughly researched and tested the only viable Korean thermal massage bed companies (Nuga Best, Ceragem, and Migun) and confirmed for themselves that the buzz about the comfort, ISO 9001 quality, functionality, and features of the Nuga Best beds was true. Since then, a Chinese company named SPC has manufactured massage beds with different style covers and frames under various brand names for sale in the United States. After months and months worth of detailed work, Christian and Matthew opened Zion Alternative Therapy Wellness Technology in July, 2005. In March, 2007, they turned their brick-and-mortar center into an online based e-tail store focusing on super quick shipping and superb customer service.
To date, Christian and Matthew have introduced thousands of individuals to the Nuga Medical Company Wellness Technology in their Wellness Center and hundreds of thousands of individuals to the Nuga Medical Company Wellness Technology throughout the world via www.ZionTherapy.com.
Zion Alternative Therapy's name came from the hillside where Christian grew up, Mt. Zion. Zion also means "a place of refuge and sanctuary," which is what the patrons of their Wellness Center used it as.
