Why Jade?
With its shiny green luster, the precious Jade stone has been known to man for 7,000 years. Recognized for its uniqueness in 3000 BC, Jade was considered the royal gem in China, where its worth was comparable to gold and diamonds today. The Mayans and Aztecs believed it to be the stone of magic that only priests, kings and gods were worthy of wearing. In traditional Eastern medicine, Jade is believed to possess healing qualities by emitting a gentle steady energy that strengthens the lungs, heart, thymus, immune and nervous system, as well as increasing kidney filtration and blood detoxification.
Jade is a natural transmitter of far-infrared rays in the same wavelength as from the human body. Jade also produces negative ions which encourages cell metabolism, which in turn increases one’s mood, strengthens one’s immune defense, and enhances one's endurance. It's well known in Asia for slowing down the process of aging as well as maximizing the body’s ability to strengthen its natural defenses and healing abilities.
The health benefits of Jade are now becoming known in the West. In a study performed in Germany, it was reported that jade lowers high blood pressure and improves poor circulation. Mice fed with Jade filtered water displayed a decrease in high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels as well as reflecting an increase in sperm count and regenerative functions.
The body contouring internal projectors of the Nuga Best NM-5000 and NM-4500 Thermal Massage Beds have 7 Jade Rollers, while the 5-ball hand-held projector contains 5 carved Jade balls. Contained inside the Jade rollers and balls are Helium light bulbs. Why Helium???
The element helium is named after the sun (Helios is the Greek word for sun). The sun produces energy from nuclear reactions which form helium nuclei. Through these nuclear fusion reactions, the sun emits large amounts of far-infrared rays and light, which the earth absorbes. Bathed in these rays, the planet is warmed, making all life processes possible. Helium is the second most abundant element next to hydrogen. It is the helium growth ray that causes plants to grow in the direction of sunlight.
Helium light bulbs produce heat using a special wavelength, which is scientifically know to penetrate deeper than conventional methods. When grasses are exposed to a helium neon light, they grow twice as fast. By heating with helium projected through the Jade rollers in the Nuga Best NM-5000 and NM-4500 Thermal Massage Beds, far-infrared light waves and warm thermal heat penetrate and soothe the body.
